Jack of all trades, master of some.
Alex Binsted was born and raised within walking distance of the Potomac River in Washington, DC. Much of his youth was spent fishing at Fletcher’s Boathouse and later on many days of skipped school were spent catching shad from the banks of the Potomac. Almost three decades later he still lives in the same neighborhood and spends most of his free time fishing the river and the C&O Canal. When he’s not fishing he works as a manager at Fletcher’s Boathouse and spends his spare time building furniture using reclaimed wood from the river basin.
