Not much change in the last few days; not surprising with the water temperature staying below 50°. Good hickory shad bite today with a few Americans picked up as well. Shad have been very spot dependent so if you’re not catching it would be wise to move rather than wait for the bite to start. Stripers have remained scattered but should start to concentrate in numbers when the water gets in the mid 50’s. Lot of small white perch but no sign of the ‘jumbos’ yet.
