The river has once again risen above 5ft on the Little Falls gauge which prevents Fletchers from renting boats. However, as of this afternoon the water clarity has remained fishable enough that there have been several reports of hickory and American shad biting from the shoreline. Some perch and catfish are being caught from shore as well. The river will crest tomorrow and looks to be under 5ft by Sunday, however with snow and rain in the forecast it might not remain that way for long.
